The Buck Shed

Our original buck shed was in really rough shape so we decided to tear it down and replace it before breeding season.

Colter and Emery got the job of demolishing the old buck shed. I wish I had gotten pictures of it, because they really relished tearing that thing apart.

We decided to add the buck shed to the back of the existing outdoor goat shelter.

Kevin has built all our barns for us (not the original buck shed, that was one of those cheap Home Depot sheds). The children LOVE “helping” him. Kevin’s really patient with the children and let’s them “help”.

Here are some photos of Kevin doing most of the work while Greyden and the goats supervise:

And hammering some more:

The goats were not very happy to be separated. There has been a lot of mooning and crying at each other over the fence that now separates the two sheds. Cause after all, Ned is one handsome buck (or so the girl goats like to tell me).
